Students in Grades 4 through 8 may sign up to be songleaders for the Wednesday morning school Mass. Songleaders for each week will practice with Mrs. Engman at lunch time on Tuesday and before Mass on Wednesday morning. Sign-up will take place the first week of school.
Students of all ages who have had instrumental music lessons may sign up to play at Communion during the school Mass each week. Those students who participate in the Catholic Schools Band program will be scheduled and prepared by the band teacher. Pianists and other instrumentalists not in the band program may sign up in music class with Mrs. Engman.
**IMPORTANT** -- Due to the earlier start for Mass times this year (8:30 AM), it is important that the Song Leaders arrive at school by 8:00 AM or earlier. They may enter the school before the first bell and should notify the office that they are there, then go leave their belongings in their classroom/locker and give their teacher their lunch/milk orders. They should then bring their jackets to the music room and Mrs. Engman will walk them over to church to practice.
